ENSO CASE STUDY

Dr. William Brose

Dr. William Brose is the founder of Stanford University’s pain management program. He focuses on treating debilitating forms of chronic pain and opioid dependence. His aim is to reduce disability and improve quality of life for his patients.

Dr. Brose uses the ENSO pain management program as an alternative to medication-based therapy in order to reduce opioid use and restore physical function for his patients. His patients so far have experienced reduce dependence on medication and increased ability to exercise and perform other daily functional tasks.

WHAT DR. BROSE SAYS ABOUT ENSO

“ENSO is a great solution for reducing pain and restoring functionality for people with chronic pain that do not want to deal with the harmful effects of pain medications. The program is clinically based on reducing their intake of pain medications and helping patients achieve their lifestyle goals.”

NON-INVASIVE NEUROMODULATION IS THE FUTURE OF PAIN RELIEF

ENSO’s non-invasive neuromodulation device utilizes electrical pulses delivered across the skin to help manage chronic pain. These electrical pulses work to reduce muscle tension and the sensation of pain in the area where they are applied. Coupled with coaching, monitoring, and support, this is a complete pain management solution.

RESEARCH–BASED INNOVATION

The technology behind ENSO is based on the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience research. Proprietary waveforms deliver a novel mechanism of action for nerve signal modulation.

What our patients are saying

“I’ve been battling lower back pain for years, getting injections helps for a few weeks but it doesn’t last. I refuse to take opioids for all the obvious downsides, and I’m also weary of surgery. Nowadays, I use ENSO every morning and at night. I’ve never slept better. “

– EDWARD, 67, MECHANIC

“I’ve been dealing with non-specific low back pain of mild to moderate intensity for the past 5 years and have tried a ton of different things that didn't help. ENSO is one of the few things that has had a lasting impact. It’s an important tool to keep me functioning at the level I want to reach my personal and professional goals.“

– JULIAN, 29, PRESIDENT OF CANVAS MEDICAL

“I can’t thank my doctor enough for getting me into the ENSO clinical study. The treatment is absolutely amazing, and it has lowered my pain level at least 30% so far. Best of all, I’m able to take less Percocet, which had been the worst struggle until now.”

What physicians are saying

Dr. Jeff Wayne

”For the past 25 years, I’ve maintained a private internal medicine practice and clinical trials program. During that time, I have provided medical care and conducted research studies for numerous patients with chronic pain. My experience utilizing the ENSO device for chronic back pain patients has been positive. We have consistently seen improved pain and function in our patients, as well as a decrease in their need for pain medications including opioids. I am excited and encouraged that we have a simple and safe modality to help our patients with chronic pain.”

Dr. Francisco Garcia

“I have been particularly impressed by the ENSO device. Patients we selected had significant chronic pain issues and my expectations were not high as these patients were on chronic opiates and had significant limitations. Nearly immediately, their mobility and posture improved. Quality of life significantly improved allowing them to more fully participate in their ADL’s. I have no qualms recommending use of this device in our patient population.”
